@mommatofour_ A tip me and my mom picked up in therapy- her asking "would you like sympathy or solutions?" was HUGE when I was that age because it let us both step back and figure out if I just needed to bitch about something or if I wanted help, and it saved us SO many fights.

One of my hosp's admin is pretty much outright not allowing docs to prescribe certain shit- like every single time they put in x painkiller, it gets flagged and held

@aliciaandrz College kid budget birthday celebration- got a few packages of balloons from walmart ($1 a pkg) and made a few different boxes of walmart cake mix into cupcakes with store-bought frosting we whipped to stretch further. Put some fun music and jumped around and laughed.
