65 FREE SURGERIES FOR 65 CHILDREN
Yesterday, I attended the final follow-up clinic and appreciation programme at Mother Mary Hospital, Isolo, Lagos, following the successful completion of 65 free surgeries for children to mark my 65th birthday.
I am deeply grateful to God Almighty for guiding the medical team throughout the process and for granting all 65 children safe and successful surgeries.
The surgeries, led by Dr Folaseye Adebayo and her dedicated team, included adenotonsillectomy. This procedure removes enlarged or chronically infected tonsils and adenoids, which can cause breathing difficulties, recurrent infections, and sleep-related problems in children.
What made the occasion particularly touching was listening to parents share their testimonies and hearing how these procedures have improved their children’s health and quality of life.
My profound appreciation goes to @DrFolaseye Adebayo and her entire team, the hospital management, the parents, and everyone who contributed to making this initiative possible.
For me, birthdays are not merely occasions for celebration. They are opportunities to give back, touch lives, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
I thank God for the privilege of being part of this initiative and, most importantly, for the gift of 65 healthy and hopeful children.
May God continue to bless all those who dedicate their lives to saving and improving the lives of others.

@Tolu_7085 The fact that you are not being truthful about the current state of Nigeria raises serious concerns about your credibility. It would be difficult for anyone to confidently entrust a business deal to you. Your apparent lack of honesty and transparency are significant red flags.
@Dannymasterp@MasterBolaji Gullible Nigerians! I pity my dear country. What does he mean my opportunities? This is how you get deceived every moment by the political screw and bolt errand boys.
@skood009@thecableng Nigeria is in a mess with this kind of people in the ruling class. Even more worrisome is the audience applauding him, which is equally disgraceful. It is only God who can help Nigeria and Africa.
@jendoonline@ruffydfire Akara has actually blocked your brain to understanda simple sentence. Rufai only contextualised leadership by example and you're calling him names. If akara business is lucrative, then start and the citizens will follow. That's true leadership.
@cephas_ezekiel@Yussuph007@ruffydfire Simply put - their children would have continued with same business and not japa for a better life. Justifying stupidity in Nigeria is our major problem as a country.
@Waspapping_ Or is it the one where spouses wake up and go to their separate workplaces, and the man sends his wife a text saying, 'I have divorced you.' The woman from the office and return back to her father's house?
@sladeABD@Waspapping_ Could you please put the content in a better form? I have a Muslim women who has always lament on this as her greatest fear in her marriage. So, how do you explain it better
@brightexeva12@Ol0ye You guys like arguing on a cheap sentiment. Dangote has once confirm that the increasing price of cement is as a result of governments huge tax.
@ShehuSani How can someone who seeks to represent his people be tweeting this? It clearly reflects the emptiness and hopelessness of our political class. Your concern should be what you will do differently this time if elected as a lawmaker in the 2027 general election.
@RekedeiSimeon@NigeriaStories You guys put sentiment in everything. The first thing is, why shouldn't the government disclose what's wrong with him. Speculations have it that he had a stroke. If that is true, them he need to be replaced immediately. Anyway, I wish him a speed of recovery.
