Because to me, Nigeria doesn't look like a country that gained independence or like a sovereign nation at all.
We are still slaves to the Western world. They still decide what happens in our country and exploit our natural res

Nigeria, on the other hand, is over $500 billion in debt when you combine external debt, domestic debt and CBN loans.
Same resources, same decade, but opposite results because of leadership, saving, and planning.
What exactly are we celebrating?

We gained independence on October 1st, 1960 - that's 66 years ago. We discovered oil in 1956 and started exporting in 1958.
The UAE discovered oil in 1958 and only became a country on December 2nd, 1971 - 11 years AFTER us.
