21 % Mehrwertsteuer?

300.000 € Grundgehalt.
Lebenslange Pension.
Automatisch steigende Diäten.
Keine persönliche Haftung.
Kein eigenes Kapitalrisiko.
Und gleichzeitig fordert man:
– höhere Erbschaftsteuer
– Vermögensteuer
– neue Kapitalertragsteuern
Deutschland nimmt rund 1 Billion Euro pro Jahr ein.
Das Problem sind nicht die Einnahmen.
Das Problem ist die Struktur.
Ein Unternehmer haftet mit seinem Vermögen.
Ein Politiker haftet für nichts.
Wer kein eigenes Risiko trägt, sollte vorsichtig sein, anderen höhere Risiken aufzubürden.
Das ist keine moralische Debatte.
Das ist eine Systemfrage.
Wer trägt eigentlich das unternehmerische Risiko in diesem Land?

Redistribution is not a moral correction.
It is a structural confession.
When a state with record tax revenues still needs new wealth taxes, special levies or “fairness adjustments,” the problem is not inequality.
The problem is system design.
Capital does not leave because it is greedy.
It leaves when predictability erodes.
Investors do not price morality.
They price risk.
Every debate about new access mechanisms to private wealth increases one thing:
the risk premium.
And risk premiums move capital faster than ideology ever will.
The question is not whether redistribution sounds justified.
The question is why a system with historic revenues still requires it.
Because once predictability becomes negotiable,
mobility becomes rational.

The Middle East is not on the brink of war.
It is operating inside a compressed decision architecture.
Diplomacy continues.
Deterrence becomes more visible.
Regional actors reposition.
This is not imminent escalation.
It is reduced systemic elasticity.
In military systems, escalation rarely starts with intent.
It starts with friction.
When deterrence visibility rises, error margins shrink.
And shrinking margins increase velocity.
The system remains operational.
But it is tighter.
And tighter systems demand sharper judgment.

Most international offshore structures don’t collapse because they’re illegal.
They collapse because they were never built to survive real scrutiny.
In a world of automatic information exchange, cross-border data sharing and aggressive compliance standards, registration is meaningless without coherence.
Banks don’t care about your incorporation documents.
Tax authorities don’t care about your brochure.
Regulators don’t care about your narrative.
They care about consistency.
Where are decisions made?
Where is value created?
Who actually controls the profits?
Which jurisdiction ultimately taxes the substance?
If a structure can be destabilized by five precise questions, it was never robust.
The real risk in 2026 is not regulation.
It is fragmentation.
Offshore is not the danger.
Illusion is.
The question is not whether your setup works today.
The question is whether it survives when systems start reading it.

Most Dubai setups don’t fail at incorporation.
They fail at banking — and at country-of-origin logic.
Dubai is still often treated as a simple company-formation play.
In reality, that discussion misses the point entirely.
The real gatekeeper today is banking.
Many structures are formally compliant on paper.
UAE-registered, licensed, fast to set up.
And yet they stop working the moment real scrutiny begins.
Not because of the license.
Not because of Dubai.
But because banks no longer assess what was incorporated —
they assess where the founder comes from, where decisions are made, where value is created, and where tax substance actually applies.
Anyone who believes a UAE structure exists independently from the country of origin has not understood the system.
This is where the most expensive mistakes happen.
A large share of setups are built by intermediaries who know how to register entities,
but do not understand how banking, tax, compliance and cross-border logic interact as one system.
Speed replaces structure.
Registration replaces viability.
And the problems only surface later — in banking.
Accounts stall.
Structures are questioned.
Tax issues emerge that were never addressed upfront.
Not because banks are difficult.
But because banks are the final reality check.
That is why serious cases today are rarely solved directly between client and bank.
Private bankers, family offices, tax advisors and lawyers increasingly rely on local strategic partners who understand origin-country exposure and can translate structures into banking-viable reality.
Not for convenience.
But because poor structuring in this environment becomes extremely expensive.
Dubai is no playground anymore.
And incorporation is not the problem.
The problem is building structures that separate banking, origin country and tax logic —
and advisors who cannot read systems end-to-end.

Europe is not losing capital because taxes are too high.
It is losing capital because predictability has disappeared.
That distinction matters. And it is exactly where many otherwise well-informed analyses still fall short.
Attractive tax regimes, national incentives and special rules can look compelling on paper.
But attractiveness without long-term legal, political and security certainty is not a competitive advantage.
It is a temporary incentive with an expiry date.
Capital does not move because of ideology.
It moves when rules become unstable, when political intervention accelerates, and when structures that are legal today can be questioned, restricted or reversed tomorrow.
This is no longer an exception in Europe.
It has become a structural pattern.
Tax harmonisation is increasingly replacing location competition.
National incentive models are overridden by supranational frameworks.
Residency and citizenship programmes are approved and later politically dismantled.
Holding structures are tolerated only if they are fully lived operationally, and even then without genuine long-term certainty.
On top of that comes the broader reality Europe is facing.
Strained public finances.
Growing geopolitical tensions.
Real war risks.
And a political environment that increasingly treats private capital as a redistribution object rather than a protected asset.
Capital does not think in election cycles.
It thinks in decades.
From my perspective, and from the operational reality of advising internationally, Europe has therefore become a non-calculable environment for long-term wealth and structural planning.
Not because Europe lacks talent or opportunity.
But because the system no longer offers reliable planning security.
That is why serious, long-term capital structuring is increasingly designed outside Europe.
Not because everything elsewhere is perfect, but because predictability, property rights and future viability can currently be structured more realistically there.

Capital doesn’t leave because of emotions.
It leaves because equations change.
Europe isn’t collapsing.
It’s becoming a high-density decision system.
When regulation tightens,
optionality disappears first.
This isn’t politics.
It’s architecture.
If you want to protect capital and freedom of action,
you must keep the option to exit structurally.
Not fear.
Not ideology.
Architecture.
