My friend is coming the weekend of October 23rd and I just planned out the perfect weekend.

My hope is by the end he says “I don’t want to leave!” That means I did well 😌😌

I realized I’ll be starting Basic Training in February, exactly one year after the month my mom passed away from cancer

It hurts to think that the one person I wanted to tell that I made it into the military is the one person I can’t see or talk to anymore, except through prayer

My boyfriend broke up with me the following week
My mom was battling stage 4 colon cancer

So I needed a change in my life. I wanted a fresh start. The military felt like the right path for me.
