The Legislature literally conducts “performance audits” of executive branch agencies.
So, based on their own constitutional arguments, @MassAGO, the Legislature has either been…
1. violating the separation of powers,
or,
2. willfully misleading people about what the constitution actually says so that they’re the only branch who doesn’t get audited.

Can’t imagine why I’ve been blocked from accessing the courts to settle this.

But, maybe it’s because of all these receipts I have. 🤔🤓

Our last audit of the legislature (that they refused to participate in) found that they didn’t even follow their own rules & submit any financial audits to our office as required, by their own rules. Another rule, with no teeth, is what they’re now telling the taxpayers they deserve instead of their compliance with the law. #mapoli
