It is fascinating to have been in this space for 41+ yrs. It really never changes. Each new generation of traders wants "magic" - an indicator, magic numerology, etc. to help them unlock the secrets of the market.
A lot of things have changed surrounding market mechanisms - huge volume, algos drive and affect transactions. Derivatives on derivatives on derivatives...
However, one thing hasn't changed and it can't. We trade auction markets. Auction markets are designed to do a very specific thing - facilitate trade. It follows a very consistent process to do this. It is a process of development that has very distinct phases.
"Market Profile" gives a specific footprint perspective of this process - in all timeframes. There is no "magic" in Market Profile. The magic is understanding the Auction Market Process of Development.
I love your journey...

A 6-Month Retrospective Concludes
Deep in the weeds with Claude - experimenting with a myriad of strategies (too numerous to count) … hour after hour ... day after day.
Alas … only one strategy has displayed durability - and that strategy is … following the migration of value using the Market Profile.
One strategy with persistent market edge — migration of value using the Market Profile.
One strategy immune to overfitting — migration of value using the Market Profile.
One strategy with clear entry, exit, and risk rules — migration of value using the Market Profile.
Almost 20 years of testing and writing Thinkscript studies ... coming back time and time again to the teachings of J. Peter Steidlmayer, Jim Dalton, and Donald L. Jones. Masters.
Humbling.
The same lesson has returned — that complexity is the enemy of consistency. And the last six months of prompting a chatbot has epitomized that simple bit of wisdom.
The images that follow are paired. On the left a model that was shaped by preloading Claude with a decades' worth of personal notes from a mentorship with Tom Alexander and from learning notes on everything I could find on auction market process. The AI-driven model was shaped by iterative prompting. On the right … where those recent signals fell on a naked price chart.
And in every case, the signals are impeccably timed.
The enemy of good ... is better.
In one of his public speeches, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani admitted that Islam and the Prophet Muhammad guide his policies as a Muslim mayor. He glorified Islam as a pro-mass migration religion and stated: “Islam is built on migration.”
What he forgot to mention is that the Prophet Muhammad migrated from place to place — and after each migration, he waged war, conquered territories, and beheaded Jews and Christians who refused to submit to Islam. This is not a religion of peace. This is a political doctrine of a cult.
The only thing that stops violent men from raping you and your society are other men who are equally willing to be violent in stopping the rapists. The West has decided that the highest virtue is to quietly comply with the destruction of your civilization because to do otherwise is bigoted toward the rapists. It really is that simple.
Congressman Tim Burchett confirms on Joe Rogan that Bill Gates is behind the massive increase in ticks
Now we have a whistleblower who says pilots are being paid to drop ticks by aircraft
This matches accounts in America of tick boxes being found
“We are paid to spread ticks by air. It happens twice a year, early spring and early fall. This year we've been hired to do it earlier. The company receives the ticks in boxes. Each box contains millions of ticks. The aircraft used are generally single or dual prop aircraft, single pilot, and There's one other passenger that handles the dispersal. It pays a lot, and I mean a lot.”
“Here we have a whistleblower saying that they are paid to disperse ticks across Canada. Now, this sounds eerily familiar to what we're hearing about these boxes of ticks that are being found” in America
The Gates Foundation funded a biotech firm called Oxitec for research on genetically modifying cattle ticks
Farmers claim to be funding “boxes of ticks”on their properties
Lyme disease cases are skyrocketed right at the time when a Lyme disease vaccine is actively in the works
So without the ticks, they can’t sell their vaccines
You’ll never guess who’s making it, Pfizer and Valneva
Hmmm..several take-aways, here. One that really sticks out is how even hyper-bright people can be brainwashed by a relentless, but false, narrative. #masks

Was not ready for Eric Church to deliver the best commencement speech I’ve ever heard.
Six guitar strings. Six pillars of a life.
Faith. Family. Spouse. Ambition. Community. You.
Tune them when you’re whole, not just when you’re broken.
Watch the whole thing.
Elon Musk just defended America better than every politician in Washington combined.
Musk: “After World War 2, the US could have basically taken over the world and any country. Like we got nukes, nobody else got nukes. We don’t even have to lose soldiers. Which country do you want?”
One nation on earth held a weapon nobody else had.
Total dominance. Zero competition. No risk of retaliation.
Every empire in history that held that kind of advantage used it.
Rome. The Mongols. The British. The Ottomans.
They conquered until they collapsed.
America had a bigger advantage than all of them combined.
And it rebuilt the countries it just defeated.
Musk: “The United States actually helped rebuild countries. So it helped rebuild Europe, it helped rebuild Japan. This is very unusual behavior, almost unprecedented.”
Almost unprecedented?
It had never happened before. Not once in 5,000 years of recorded history.
The Marshall Plan wasn’t foreign aid.
It was the most radical act of restraint any superpower ever committed.
America turned its enemies into allies. Turned rubble into economies. Turned surrender into partnership.
Germany went from ashes to the economic engine of Europe in a generation.
Japan went from unconditional surrender to the third largest economy on earth.
Three years after the war, America was flying food into Berlin.
A city in the heart of the nation that just tried to destroy it.
That’s not policy.
That’s a civilization deciding what it is at the exact moment it has the power to be anything.
You’re being told a story right now.
That America is the villain of history.
You hear it everywhere. Media. Universities. Social platforms.
Musk: “There’s always like, well America’s done bad things. Well of course America’s done bad things, but one needs to look at the whole track record.”
Every nation on earth has dark chapters. Every single one.
The difference is what a country does when nobody can stop it.
And when nobody could stop America, it fed its enemies and rebuilt their cities.
Musk: “The history of China suggests that China is not acquisitive. Meaning they’re not going to go out and invade a whole bunch of countries.”
Probably right.
China has historically built walls, not fleets.
But the real question isn’t about borders anymore.
We’re approaching a moment that mirrors 1945 in ways nobody has fully processed yet.
AI is going to give a handful of people a power advantage that makes nuclear monopoly look quaint.
If someone is going to hold that kind of power, who do you want it to be?
The country that conquered when it could? Or the one that rebuilt when it didn’t have to?
Every alliance. Every trade route. Every economy.
Billions lifted out of poverty.
All of it traces back to one act of restraint that had never been done before.
And carries no guarantee of being repeated.
The most powerful thing America ever did wasn’t building the bomb.
It was what it didn’t do after.
Christopher Hitchens: ”In 1786, when the United States was barely a country, it was having its sailors taken as slaves by the Barbary states, the states of the Ottoman Empire and North Africa. Tripoli, shores of Tripoli. Ships stopped, its crews carried off into slavery. We estimate 1.5 million European and American slaves taken between 1750 and 1815.
Jefferson and Adams went to their ambassador in London and said, why do you do this to us? The United States has never had a quarrel with the Muslim world of any kind. We weren't in the crusades. We weren't at war with Spain. Why do you do this to our people and our ships? Why do you plunder and enslave our people? The ambassador said very plainly, Mr. Abdul Rahman said, because the Quran gives us permission to do so, because you are infidels, and that's our answer. Jefferson said, well, in that case, I will send a navy which will crush your state, which he did.
Islamic fundamentalism is not created by American democracy. It's a lie to say so. It's a masochistic lie, and it excuses those who are the real criminals, and blames us for the attacks made upon us.”
Elon Musk opened the federal budget and found what both parties spent decades making sure nobody would ever see.
The receipts.
Musk: “Most of the fraudulent government payments, especially to the NGOs, go to the Democrats. Let’s say 80%, maybe 90%. 10 to 20% of it does go to Republicans.”
He didn’t say one side was clean.
He said both sides were eating.
Musk: “The honest answer is the Republicans are partly… they’re receiving some of the fraud too. They’re getting a vig.”
A vig.
That’s the word you use when the house takes a cut of every bet at the table.
That’s not governance. That’s a rake.
And when DOGE shut off the fraudulent payments, the loudest screams didn’t come from Democrats.
They came from Republicans.
Musk: “When we turn off funding to a fraudulent NGO, we’d get complaints from whatever the 10% of Republicans who were receiving the money. And they would very loudly complain.”
You tell someone 90% of the fraud funds their political opponents.
And they still fight you to keep their 10%.
Musk: “I tried telling them, ‘Well, you know, 90% of the money is going to your opponents.’”
Rogan: “They want their piece.”
Musk: “Yeah, they want their piece.”
Rogan: “And they’ve been getting that piece for a long time.”
The uniparty was never a conspiracy theory.
Musk: “The whole uniparty criticism has some validity to it.”
It’s a revenue model.
Left and right aren’t opponents. They’re co-signers on the same account.
The theater is for you. The money is for them.
Every bank on earth runs AI that flags a suspicious $47 charge before you even notice it.
The United States government somehow can’t catch billions in fraudulent payments to shell NGOs.
The technology exists. It has for years.
An algorithm doesn’t care which party you belong to. It doesn’t take a vig. It doesn’t have a donor.
It just follows the money.
And that’s exactly why they’ll never willingly deploy it.
Musk didn’t expose a partisan scandal.
He exposed the operating system of American governance.
And the most dangerous thing he did wasn’t cutting the payments.
It was proving both sides would rather protect the fraud than lose their cut.
The system isn’t broken.
It was built this way.
