Pregnancy with a 3.5yo, in my 8th year of grad school, over a summer of heat waves, with 2 cross-country moves in 1 year due to residency, on a limited salary, introduced me to the upper limits of my mental & emotional stamina. I’m SO relieved to finally reach this milestone.

Life update: I graduated! Defended my dissertation last month, submitted final revisions a few weeks ago, and received my degree a few days ago. I’ll walk in the December ceremony @AmericanU. For now, I’ll continue working on my other big project: gestating! Due next month.
