You get numb to it after a while.

The director is going to be fine.
He’s got money and more film projects lined up.

One movie is not going to freeze his whole career.

I hate the toxic people attacking him.

That’s different from people just saying what they want.

That’s something everyone has the right to do It’s their money and their voice.

The games and the CGI films have always been the actually good Resident Evil stuff.

That’s not even a hot take.

What’s funny is how Cregger is being treated like he’s the first person to do something “new and different.”

Every single director who made the live-action films and the TV show did that.

ALL OF THEM.

I really don’t get this “RE FANS JUST WANT THE SAME THING” line.

They have never had a live-action adaptation that was the same thing.

Not once.

Almost every one of them have original characters Alice is a OC hello!!?

And any OG characters that did show up was always never used in a way that was great in any context they were used to show off Alice that's all and lets not start on how some of them were written.

The only real exception is Welcome to Raccoon City. That’s it mind u it has them too from what I recall.

So we can’t even act like original characters are some brand new thing Cregger invented.

And every director before him got this same outcry from fans.

So why is it suddenly different with Cregger?

Its really wild how people just cant even fathom that this has been going on and has been done by everything before it.

Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) has proposed new policy guidelines to boost the global reach of anime, games, manga, film, and music while protecting creators freedom.

The plan emphasizes large-scale support, direct funding, and a firm commitment to respecting the creative vision of artists. METI hopes to expand Japan’s content market overseas to ¥20 trillion yen ($130 billion USD) by 2033, giving creators the freedom to innovate and grow the industry internationally.

So I'm going to give this fantasy comics series a little shout out just in case any lovers of fantasy want to check them out. These are french comics that were released in English and are available digitally on Amazon. They are all set in the same world and follow different characters and races in the same world. Even if the series stopped getting English translations, what's available in English is still worth reading. The story is nice and the art is amazing. Well worth checking out. And who knows, maybe if sales pick up we may get the untranslated comics in English someday.
