Once migration is completed, we will be able to plan ahead for the new features that were outlined in the proposal.
Things are moving on the @cosmoshub right now!
If Hydro moves to the Hub, the tokenfactory module will enable us to launch tokenized Inflow vault shares. They will be yield-bearing tokens that can also be used as collateral in DeFi protocols. There will be a few different versions of this token, representing different lock durations within the Inflow vaults (e.g. 1 day, 24 days & 90 days) and users will be able to convert and swap between them.
It is great to see the foundations of a thriving application ecosystem built directly on the Hub, and weâre excited to help make this happen.
Things are playing out pretty much as predicted here. Pretty sure we're in the midst of a mass retail washout as people who are still thinking about crypto in terms of DeFi and memes finally capitulate.
New retail-focused L1 launches are flopping hard (e.g., Monad). Timeline is full of "DeFi Influencers" saying this is the end, etc.
People who don't understand (or refuse to understand) that crypto's purpose is changing will move on, leaving the opportunities for people who have had the foresight to understand the direction things are headed.
