@Codie_Sanchez If your CEO is too obsessed with AI… get out… use a tool where it is the right fit. Yes, you can dig a hole with an atomic bomb, but an excavator would be the better option. There are things AI can be an asset to, there are things where you’re overcomplicating
@hiarun02 If you don’t understand what AI is building for you, you’re basically one step closer to a Wall-E dystopian future. Supervision is how you get it to build the right thing.
@nishancodes@MaMoMVPY The improvements in models have been negligible these past 1.5 years. What’s improved is the orchestration, tools, skills and agents. We’re basically at the „we can’t build faster chips, lets do parallelisation“ stage that broke Moores law too
@IamAroke And I can make sure that 100% of it works as expected, it’s stable and maintainable. It’s the final 20% where experience shines. You can have juniors write 80%, but you still want seniority to own the outcome.
@S_N_SH_E_@AnshitGupta7x7 Someone down the line needs to keep a state. Can be a reverse proxy passing along session data, can be the server itself, should in most cases not be the frontend but I guess there’s usecases too
@yannickshetty Wenn man den footprint bis zum Ende misst stimmt es. Wenn man nur den direkten Abdruck misst nicht, ist aber immer noch extrem überproportional
@aditiitwt C++ is stopping me from ever wanting to write C++ again. There’s people who enjoy writing code just for the sake of it, I’m happy to leave that to these people and write my code on the abstraction layers above.
@r0ck3t23 Guess what the model spits out? Code. That needs to be reviewed and debugged. The more Complex the architecture is, the less AI is currently able to deal with it, and it’s likely that it’ll get too expensive to run models that could handle it.
@fidexcode Python. Use it to run flux and generate an image out of this 😂
No but seriously, if your main driver is to make money, you’ll not make it. You need the passion for it
@VicKhiz @ericw_ai Any software engineer that agrees could probably already be easily replaced. There’s a difference between writing „hello world“ and working on complex architecture . Complexity is where AI fails or would get too expensive to be used in the real world.
@ericw_ai They’ve been saying that for 3 years now. It’s always been „just 6 months out“… yet here I am, more often than I should, saying „Claude sonnet, what the hell are you doing“.
Also I‘m cheaper than the real operating cost of an AI data center. They’re just eating the losses now.
@MichaelAArouet Now add all of the things you lay out of pocket and see if you pay less… this includes healthcare, education, pensions, EVERYTHING. Also we don’t have property tax, you pay rent for property you’re supposed to own. Add it all up and US citizens get less for a higher cost
@Dietz96956651@Tomhennessey69@greg_price11@grok The MAGA cult trying to start a war with Europe kinda made what’s going on in the US all of our business. Y’all minded you business until 1941 when fascism came to power here. We’re not going to wait that long and watch history repeat itself now that it’s taking over the US.
@CultusPater@Wallenberg1991@RasmusJarlov Fraudulently? So what you’re saying is, the president at the time of the election was unable to secure fair elections, but his successor (Biden) was? Sounds like whoever that was is utterly incompetent and should not be allowed back into office.
