@Alan_Couzens Love this. Appreciate you keeping it real and looking at fitness as a counterpoint to work and life stress. Not something that adds to it.
I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health. The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country. Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!
If people question whether there is bias in media, you should watch this clip. When the answers given by the subject of the interview do not match the narrative which the network would like to advance, the anchor terminates the interview using as an excuse that the subject’s time is valuable and the connection is choppy. Watch to the end and see for yourself whether these reasons are a pretext or whether this is good journalism and fairness in media.
Is it possible to completely manufacture a cultural phenomenon by taking a vapid, leftist San Francisco Democrat and turning her into something that she’s not through nonstop gaslighting?
Corporate media is certainly trying to make “fetch” happen…
@REI can you please sell me this bike display rack you have in your retail stores? Corp points to retails store…retail store points to corporate. This is an awesome free standing garage rack for 6-7 bikes
@dieworkwear splurged on a Canali jacket last year and had the mishap of bumping into a wrapped canvas picture in a hallway. The jacket arm got snagged and it sliced the jacket as pictured. Took it to Nordstrom (where I purchased) and they said it was a total loss. Thoughts?
"It's as if no one has noticed that we have no extra money to send Ukraine"
"Our deficit this year will exceed $1.5 trillion"
"Borrowing money from China to send it to Ukraine makes no sense"
🔊Rand Paul … 🚨🚨🚨
$113 billion and counting. Will it ever end? We have a lot issues in the USA that need attention.
Optimism early, pessimism in the middle, optimism late.
Your starting position has to be somewhat optimistic or you'll talk yourself out of getting started. Believing in what you are about to do does not guarantee success, but a lack of belief can prevent it.
Once you've committed, pessimism becomes useful. Question things. Find holes in your plan. Hold yourself to a high standard and try to identify your mistaken beliefs before they become your misplaced actions.
Once you've spent some time troubleshooting, it's back to optimism again. Nothing will ever be perfect, but you have to act anyway. Progress requires the courage to forge ahead despite the inevitable obstacles.
Hiking rates to bring down inflation is not a "policy mistake," it's the Fed's #1 job. The true policy mistake was believing that 0% rates, buying billions of mortgage bonds in a housing bubble, & increasing the money supply by 40% in 2 yrs would have no negative consequences.

A >50% increase in the US money supply in 3 years and not a single question about it in any FOMC press conference. That's either unbelievable incompetence on the part of the most renowned financial journalists in the business or questioning/dissent is not allowed. Which is it?
I expect nothing less from them (they did the same after the housing bubble/financial crisis, never accepting responsibility), but where are the journalists? Are they not allowed to ask anything other than softball questions that portray the FOMC as an infallible/omniscient body?
Once again, not a single question on the elephant in the room at the FOMC presser: the Fed/Government role in creating the situation we are in.
Supply chains & war blamed a # of times, but no mention of 0% rates, $5 trillion in bond purchases, and $7 trillion in national debt.
Breaking: Panama just announced it will triple the size of Coiba Ridge marine protected area to nearly 68,000 sq km.
