Almost as if Villa will overpay for Nicolas Jackson (£65m) & Alejandro Garnacho (£42.5m), in return for Chelsea overpaying for Morgan Rogers (£117m) to help each other with their UEFA settlements.
Not like these two clubs haven't done it before.. oh wait, yes they have.
6m30s of Simon Jordan talking complete sense
Why would a billionaire with any level of ambition even consider buying a non 'Sky 6' club nowadays? It would be utterly pointless
Masters has fucked it, and people are starting to cotton on to it

@cjsouthwell1902@pinkun Good riddance. If we want to be challenging for promotion, we can’t be holding on to players that just aren’t anywhere near the standard needed.
Just keep showing up. Sometimes it really is that simple. Running is about consistency. Think months and years to build a solid foundation. Some days you will feel unstoppable, and others will feel like hell. But just keep showing up, day in and day out, month after month. 👊
In light of Gianni Infantino’s poor judgement this week, I am beginning to question whether Donald Trump was a worthy recipient of the FIFA Peace Prize after all.
@ncfc87685 Think it’s worth pointing out, Cov are just about to spend £22.5m on a GK that’s never played in the prem.
Vlad proved he’s adequate for a top 6 side last season. Unless you have any serious and genuine GK suggestions, I don’t see how we can consider a new Gk currently 🤷♂️
Momentum has to be cultivated and protected at all costs.
You know it when you see it. Someone who’s rolling just has momentum. When you’re feeling really fit, you want to run more. You start looking for opportunities to run instead of excuses not to. Your day begins revolving around getting that run in. Feed the beast.
The opposite happens too. A lot of would-be runners say, “I’ll start tomorrow.” Tomorrow becomes two weeks, then three months. Starting feels hard, so they keep putting it off. That’s anti-momentum.
Movement creates momentum. Sitting around kills it. Do something, anything. Go for a walk, ride your bike, 20 bodyweight squats. Just move your legs and enjoy it.
People think they want to get really fit. What they really want is momentum. Once you’ve got it, consistency becomes effortless. The fitness is just the byproduct.
Gabriel is one of the few remaining CBs who loves the physicality and the problem for him is Haaland is one of the few remaining strikers who loves it even more
The real flex nobody talks about?
Being able to run pain-free in your 40s.
Not the car.
Not the watch.
Not the race photo.
Just knees, hips, calves, Achilles, and lungs that still show up for you when you ask.
At some point, the goal changes.
You still want to be fast.
But you also want to wake up the next day, walk down stairs like a normal person, and keep training without your body filing weekly complaints.
Running pain-free after years in the sport is not boring.
It’s wealth with shoelaces.
