Leaving MAGA was one of the most difficult decisions of my life. I allowed myself to believe, and act upon, Trump's and the GOP's lies. Furthermore, the prospects of walking away from a community and second family begot a personal tumult and turmoil; it took me a year to finally leave MAGA.

I implore everyone to show grace to any Trump voter who expresses remorse, and is willing to make amends for past actions and rhetoric that may have hurt others.

When we marry, if we do not keep our maiden name, we have to jump through many hoops to change our ids, driver's license, SS card, etc. It can get crazy. If the id you use to vote doesn't match your birth certificate, you won't be able to vote.
