Please be informed that water supply to the Upper Mutungo Tank has been temporarily turned off to facilitate ongoing tank upgrade works at Mutungo Hill.
Our teams are working diligently to complete the upgrade and are simultaneously improvising alternative arrangements to restore supply as quickly as possible while the works continue.
Affected Areas:
Mutungo Hill, Bikumbi Rd, Kitaka Rd, Mutungo Ring Rd, Radio Maria area, Balimwezo Rd, Mutungo Tank Hill Rd, Kayongo Rd, Some parts of Biina and the surrounding areas.
All is being done to complete works and restore water supply in the shortest time possible.
We sincerely regret the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding as we improve the water infrastructure for better service.

Road works in Nansana Municipality are being executed under the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area Urban Development Program (GKMA-UDP). 🚧Hon Katusime Jovial commenced a two-day working visit to Abubaker Technical Services. It’s a proudly Ugandan company with its main offices and operational site in Nakaseke and a 40-acre quarry in Nakaseke District.
During the visit, she toured the company's modern facilities and quarry, where raw materials are extracted and processed into high-quality construction materials used in major infrastructure projects across Uganda. I commend the company for its outstanding contribution to national development and job creation.

🚧The Ministry of Water and Environment through the Department of Water for Production held the 13th site meeting to assess construction progress on the Kabuyanda Irrigation Scheme Off-Farm Pipe Network.
The construction of the Project is contracted to M/s China Railway 18th Bureau Group Corporation Limited (CR18) and the Supervising Engineer is WAPCOS Limited.
The project is being constructed under the Irrigation for Climate Resilience Project (ICRP) with financial support from Government of Uganda and World Bank. The Project is being implemented jointly by the Ministry of Water and Environment and Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries.
The project is designed to combat Uganda’s climate vulnerabilities and significantly boost agricultural productivity.
