Dear Tarabans,
I welcome you all to this new year of limitless possibilities. Today is unique - marking the beginning of a new Week, Month and Year.
As we prepare to navigate the new year, permit me to re-dedicate myself and every member of my team, to the progress and development of our dear Taraba. In the last few months, we have laid the foundation of great things to come; and consistently pushed for the best in all we choose to do.
Addressing the security challenges that have touched the lives of some of our citizens is a constitutional responsibility that we take seriously.
In the coming months of the year, we will redouble our efforts to make Taraba a safer haven for all. Together, we shall overcome these challenges and ensure that our state thrives in peace and harmony.
I am aware of your expectations. I also know what we promised our people and we are doing just so - together, we will fix our Taraba.
Cheers to another year! Wishing you positive new beginnings in 2024.
Happy New Year!

I joined key government and business leaders today at the Saudi-Nigeria Investment Roundtable in Riyadh, with a message from the heart of Nigeria: We are ready for change, ready for investment, ready for growth, ready for business.
As a government, we have taken sustainable steps to cut the red tape, clearing the path for free market operations, and affirming our stance against corruption.
I also emphasized the importance of our young population. Nigeria's youth are our pride, ready to drive innovation and elevate our nation on the world stage.
To investors, we promise not just ease but enthusiasm and excellence in our partnerships.

Earlier today, I met my counterparts in the FCT and Foreign Affairs Ministries to jointly resolve issues involving our Ministries.
The first is to jointly work with the FCT Ministry to resolve the issue of the FCT indigenes who need to be compensated and relocated before the construction of the 2nd runway at the Abuja airport can commence in earnest. The contractors have been mobilised to move to site.
The second is to work with the Foreign Affairs Ministry to resolve the issue of the resumption of Emirates Airline flights to Dubai/UAE and the related issue of resumption of issuance of Dubai visas to Nigerians.
We are presently making progress on these issues
