Coming very soon to ALL Algorand wallets. 🔥 #Decipher2024 $ALGO #ARC59
There is a gargantuan amount of change coming to Algorand in 2024.
Not everyone has the time to review the roadmap in detail, so here's the major changes in 4 lines:
🏎️ Dynamic Round Times: Algorand is now ~10% faster in terms of TPS.
🐍 AlgoKit 2.0: in Q1 2024, you can build apps on Algorand in the most popular language in the world, Python. Cheaper to build & maintain, Easy learning curve for newbies, faster go to market, and most financial companies already have Python devs in-house.
🤑 Consensus Incentives: by Q3 2024, you'll get rewarded in Algo for staking your Algo to support the security and decentralisation of the network. The more Algo you stake, the more blocks you'll create, the more you earn.
🌐 P2P networking: by Q4 2024, the Algorand network will become even more decentralised by introducing peer-to-peer data transmission between nodes, so Relays are no longer necessary to send and receive data on the Algorand network.
🚨⚠️Potential Scam Alert⚠️🚨
Please beware of the NFTs coming from this listing on @AB2_Gallery :

@NFTInspectors @AB2_Gallery You can keep stirring things up. Regardless, it was an issue of transparency. Had he/she simply disclosed previously, there would’ve been no issue. This is my last time response as my time is valuable. I left that entire thread up for all have transparency. Have fun raging
Came across a supposed #NFT project that looked cool on @AB2_Gallery and many were buying... by doing a simple reverse image search, I found potentially copyright-infringing content. Please #beware: https://t.co/tU8s3itVUh

@NFTInspectors @Algonauts_NFT@AB2_Gallery Others already gave reasonable responses to your questions, I don't think what I say will sway you. Again, so long as an NFT artist adapts content legally and is transparent of the process it's not an issue.
Good luck with your ventures and hope you come around
@NFTInspectors @Algonauts_NFT@AB2_Gallery I am neither associated with yieldlings nor robots. I am here to remove/call out counterfeits from the NFT #Algorand community. People can use whatever they want to create their NFTs. The main thing is they are doing it legally and transparently
Careful: Counterfeit NFTs at it again on @AB2_Gallery

@ownyourowndata @seattlebest2 @al_goanna You can steal and sell, it does not make it right. On the other hand, people are sleep Ly but surely becoming more vigilant and doing their research before buying. Creators need to also be more transparent with their project, especially in cases of using public domain images
@xlpqii @Algonauts_NFT@AB2_Gallery Agreed. Had he/she simply disclosed the use of the public domain material, there would be no issues from me. Again, I thought it looked pretty cool and did think about buying so I tried a reverse image search and tried looking for a rollout plan
@Algonauts_NFT@AB2_Gallery I have made no comments on the quality of your work other than that it looked cool. Proper attribution or disclosure of the source would always be the best.
Regardless, I will not take the initial tweet down as my source is just as valid as yours.
@Algonauts_NFT@AB2_Gallery Alas, here lies the issue: one site says one thing, the other says another. Perhaps it would be prudent for NFT Creators that use such items to publicly disclose it in something such as their Project Rollout Plan. NFT buyers and sellers need to know the source of your content.
Platforms are always trying to make things easier for the collectors and creators. Even so, we, as a community must always remain vigilant and report wrongdoings! Great job with the new feature!
https://t.co/GmIQwn1H8L 0.7.0 Update: Introducing... the 'Report' button! All reports will be publicly visible under https://t.co/FrNGqh8ZXJ. Also, 'Recent Purchases' and 'New Listings' are finally back on the homepage. Other changes here: https://t.co/0i3gK4pZJg $ALGO
Am in discussion with a few on the recommendations. There could be revisions along the way.
One major point: DYOR is extremely important! Even with convenient/helpful tools like @nftexplorerapp, we must remain vigilant as bad actors may still find a way to cheat the system!
Earlier today, a few asked how we can mitigate being NFT-scammed. Here are several things you should do and a flowchart for reference:
1. Check for rights-infringing issues.
2. Check credibility of NFT's creator and the address.
3. Understand the project (if plan available).
