Looking forward to speaking to @snellyradio@bbcmerseyside at 10.45 this morning about the #fuelcrisis and how there are so many amazing people offering lifts on https://t.co/0UJESm11q5
Great to speak to @dottymcl@BBCCambs this morning. There are still sooo many people and businesses desperate for fuel. Hopefully https://t.co/7fMosZjNPI can help lots more of them.
Let's not go back there...
Before the pandemic commuting caused 5% of UK emissions (18 Billion Kg CO2). It halved, but now it's heading back up fast.

If you have fuel and spare seats in your car please offer a colleague a lift to work. There are thousands of people with no way to get to work tomorrow.
Thank you! https://t.co/0UJESm11q5
Quick question - is it just the petrol stations near us in Norwich that have huge queues or is it across the UK? No one locally appears to be listening to the fact that there is not a fuel shortage, and thats causing one. crazy.
@N8Decarbo Only 10 days left... If we miss this opportunity to make reporting transport emissions mandatory like energy emissions then employers will not report on them or reduce them. 18Bn Kg of CO2 is important!
This would make a HUGE difference. Large companies already have to report on emissions from energy but for many their emissions from commuting and biz travel are bigger. Jump to P41 and respond today!
Trudy appointed to Ministerial position | Trudy Harrison https://t.co/VK5tBiQT1t I support her view 'we need less pen pushing and more connecting people to places'. Can she help deliver the Decarbonisation Plan @CopelandTories
@redditchrachel great to hear your update at this morning's debate on the TDP and that you feel the draft was not ambitious enough. Commuting is the largest source of transport emissions. Do emloyers have a role in the TDP?
What is your view on e-scooters? I watched the owner of this @pureelectric_uk one being asked by a friendly policeman to step into his unmarked, fossil fuelled, 5 seat, car for questioning. Time to legalise them? I think so.
Thank you Glenn, the team @liftshare and @mobilityways_ have been working hard on this and it's great to see the early adopters include some of the UK's biggest employers.
