The Chairperson of the AU Commission , H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf met with H.E. Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of @UNESCO, at its Headquarters in Paris yesterday.

Discussions centred on the complementary mandates of the African Union and UNESCO, with a focus on advancing collaboration in the areas of culture, education, as well as knowledge management.

The Chairperson @ymahmoudali & the Director General explored avenues to further strengthen cooperation within the framework of the existing MOU reaffirming their shared commitment to fostering inclusive development, preserving cultural heritage, & promoting equitable access to knowledge across the African continent.
