@TEducator101@sheltech6710 I think one of our most important jobs as an educator is to always be our students' number one cheerleader. Sometimes, we are all they have, and our support means so much!
@edu_K_ated one of my favorite projects that the fifth grade does in my school is to create fake Facebook accounts and Text Message threads for characters in their books. I think it is such a great way to bridge social learning as well as technology in the classroom, with a little creativity
@sheltech6710 I love the point that the author makes about students being the principle agents of their own change! That is such powerful thinking and holds true for all of us! #beyourownchange
Another great popular source on using simulations in the social learning approach to boost student motivation in class! https://t.co/vse9jdmvW7 #6711SM6
Great article! Sheridan, B. A., MacDonald, D. A., Donlon, M., Kuhn, B., McGovern, K., & Friedman, H. (n.d.). Evaluation of a Social Skills Program Based on Social Learning Theory, Implemented in a School Setting. PSYCHOLOGICAL REPORTS, 108(2), 420–436. https://t.co/Q8obdEGPyZ
@Mrs_SKelly5 I love the idea of students using blogs. Our fifth grade just began a blogging project in correlation with the global read aloud they participated in. The students are loving having a space to share their thinking!
Scholarly article on constructivist theory and character education including affects of positive teacher/student relationships

@tdiimmelcteatc This is such a great chart! I love how it relates to cognitive learning theory in that it speaks of students participating in project based learning as well as incorporating how to prioritize learning! #6711SM4
Love the Scholastic blog posts! This one is all about graphic organizers that help students to write opinion pieces. For my higher writers, the first grade ones are perfect! https://t.co/Yjr1ppp06Z #6711SM4
This is an amazing Glogster created by user Sidoti07 and gives an awesome overview of Cognitive Learning Theory! It serves as an amazing example of a concept map as well and even includes a multimedia link! https://t.co/jJ66EcnFH2 #6711SM4
