You’re mixing up two different things on purpose.On 26 June 1960,Hargeisa raised the Somalian flag because British Somaliland had just gained independence and then entered illegal union with the Italian Somalia four days later,that does not erase Somaliland’s separate colonial identity or the fact that Somaliland’s current tricolor was adopted later in its post 1991 statehood https://t.co/EvdO2gwgrA no,that was not “ proof” that Somaliland never existed it only proves that the unionist narrative leans on a brief historical moment and ignores the full timeline.
