Algeria celebrate today its 60th anniversary of it's independence gained on the 5th July of 1962 and also a youth day. It's a great event in the history of Algerian people and for the all the friendly countries who defeated the colonialism. Viva Algeria.

What a wonderful opening ceremony of the Oran Mediteranean Games during which more than 3 thousand sport participants from 26 nations will compete from the 25 June to 5th July. Variety of colorful and rich Algerian music and dance dominated the sky of Oran. A great success.

The celebration today by Slovenia of it's national day gives an oppotunity to present to this friendly country my congratulations and wishes of peace and progress for his people as Algeria & Slovenia celebrates this year their 60th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

I made a fruitful visit to the newly Muzeum of ethnography (Neprajzi Muzeum) of Budapest containing algerian arts ceramic, during which I was warmly received by it's Director General, Dr KEMECSI Lajos, with his staff and we discussed on cooperation and exchange of exhibitions.

Algeria will host the 19th edition of the Mediterranean Games in it's beautiful city Oran from the 25th of June to the 5th of July 2022. Among the participating we find Slovenia a friendly country which I am delighted to cover from Budapest.
