Shaykh Ali Ar-Ramli said commenting on the following statement: “We have not heard that Israel used aircraft in Gaza, and what is happening there is merely films [movies meaning could be fabricated etc].”

If this statement attributed to him is true, then it is evidence that he lives in the depths of a well, or that something is wrong with his mind—as if he is denying the crimes of the Jews against the Muslims there!

Today the Shaykh said: “Some people care only about defending the shaykh to whom they are blindly partisan. They do not care if the daʿwah is distorted or if it falls in the eyes of the ignorant. What a bitter reality.

When we write an article refuting a false statement, without mentioning the person’s name, the intended person is clear. The purpose is to refute the falsehood without regard to who said it.”

But then the comments and questions start: “Who is he? Who said this?” My brother, let the truth mentioned become clear to you through its evidence, and beware of the falsehood against which you have been warned. This is the primary purpose of the post.

As for the person who made the statement, dealing with him is a separate subject—leave it to its proper time.
