This is good day for Justice.
The Stockholm Court of Appeals has confirmed the life sentence of Hamid Nouri involved in the 1988 massacres in Iran that claimed the life of tens of thousands of political prisoners. He was also ordered to pay compensation to the families of the victims and will be deported back to Iran after he completes his prison term. We hope this will serve as an example to prosecute other regime officials involved in the 1988 chain murders. That is why our group of activists were insistent in travelling to Geneva to stop Raisi, the President of this “death committee” from stepping foot in Switzerland for the World Forum on Refugees. They all must be tried and prosecuted for crimes against humanity.
