From today, the Environment Agency will stop testing water quality at designated swim spots around England and Wales until May. But we know that surfers, swimmers, surfers, dippers and paddlers are still using the water. And due to the increase in rainfall over the next few months, pollution becomes more likely.

So, how do you feel about the fact that the government is turning a blind eye to pollution when it's more likely to make us sick? 🤒

We're calling for year-round testing 🧪 and the extension of the bathing season 📅 and we're pushing hard to get it.

Moves to limit dangerous weapons are very welcome. But the weapons are not the issue here.

Violent men will find any weapon they can to exact the harm they wish to inflict on women, and whilst I support moves to restrict access to crossbows, the focus must be on the escalating acts of abuse preceding murder. Namely coercive control, for which there is a 3.6% charge rate for and 0.01% of offences recorded result in conviction!
