@quickerbybike @david_kirton Back carries are excellent for toddlers - you can wear the sling and just carry the child in it when they get a bit tired. I really think slings are a winner for both parent and child - as long as you get the right support to wear safely and comfortably @drrosieknowles
@quickerbybike Mum of 3 here. I’ve been through 5 pushchairs and now discovered slings! Head to your local Sling library and you’ll get yourself a carrier that feels great - borrow to try it out and then buy something likely less than £100. Then you can go anywhere

@hazard_leah Swam in the Serpentine in Hyde Park all the way through 3rd pregnancy. Felt lovely. Just took it gently and even swam the day before baby was born. If you’re not used to cold water you will need to acclimatise slowly.
