@Debs_1982 She really is so humble. We're so blessed to have her championing love&acceptance.
She’s the perfect ally & she doesn't realise how amazing she is.
She's kind & accepting. That's just who she is regardless of being in the public eye. Everyone else there last night loves her too.
@bal_sopal_fans This this this! My day has been made.
She really does deserve this so much. She goes above and beyond to strive for rep and understand the community and help so many feel seen.
You just know she'll have been so humble about this win too. She really is the perfect ally!
@woahmitchell Like I know we've had Sukeve supporting the wider family and Suki processing everything with Vinny and Penny, but I've awaited the week we get Sukeve at the centre again, focusing on themselves and their adoption journey. Finally we're getting it, and other things involving them.
@woahmitchell This! I started watching EE in March when Suki returned following Bal's Strictly break, waiting for the time we'd have a period full of Sukeve: finally near the end of June, we're getting it.
As a new Suki/Sukeve fan, this is the week I've waited for, not just scenes here&there.
@bal_sopal_fans I was thinking this too.
This probably won't happen as I can't see him being partnered with 2 Eastenders people in consecutive years, but imagine if Lacey is partnered with Jules, and Bal visits them in the training room i.e. Jules with both his partners who also know each other.
@Debs_1982 Yes & we still have some of the Penny/Vinnie/Harry storyline to come, so Nicola fighting for Harry to have him seems plausible.
But yeah a new Panesar-Unwin family member would be ideal&a new dynamic for them which would be good to see.
I just can't help thinking otherwise though
@Debs_1982 Yes, I can't imagine though Sukeve would adopt Priya's baby, because that would be too long off, or maybe that's a very slim possibility.
I'm rulingPenny's baby out because I feel like that's baby Ethan who was with Jack in the flash forward and that just wouldn't make sense.
@Debs_1982 Yeah, ideally it would be a new character because the Panesar-Unwin family needs a new member we haven't met, like for the family to get bigger, but I can't help thinking about the significance of Jordan being ran over on the night that changes everything i.e. big consequences.
@Debs_1982 And a more realistic theory: we're going to find out more about Eve's time in prison aren't we? Heather brought that up in her Inside Soap interview, so I suspect conversations around that are a big part of the process & I think that's what bumps in the road will revolve around
@Debs_1982 Feel free to shut me down immediately because I'm probably totally off here, but I can't help but wonder, with it being an adoption: will they actually adopt a child we haven't met, or one already known to us? Like I've genuinely wondered if they'll end up adopting Jordan or Ivy.
@Debs_1982 Yes. I think if it were that soon, it may be a bit rushed but you never know. Looking at those episode descriptions, it seems they'll have hurdles to overcome so we'll have to see how it plays out.
I've been thinking about what’ll happen: must admit some of my theories are wild.
@Debs_1982 It's going to feel strange watching this series, with Julian potentially having a new partner & Bal not being there.
With all the dance-offs they were unjustly in Bal needed a partner who truly had her back. She had that in Julian. It shows in their friendship still being strong
@sukeve_xo Yes absolutely this too. And the way they champion each other: they love each other and also understand each other's complexities.
I love being a Sukeve fan and I can't wait for us to delve even more hopefully soon: I'm so glad I came across them, albeit in an unconventional way.
@sukeve_xo All of this,! After supporting the family recently it was lovely to see them interact with the wider community & be happy & let their hair down.
They've had to go through so much to get to this point but to see where they are now, it's beautiful. Their love has so much nuance too
@Debs_1982 That's something I loved about today's episode. Enough breaks in the dialogue meaning I could know about some of the goings-on like Eve having her head in Suki's lap.
Just being able to know that was lovely because it's those aspects I normally find out about through the fandom.
@Debs_1982 But yeah, thank you for accepting me for me and for understanding that I access certain things differently. So much of why I don't post my own content is because I can't just look at images, but I love that I can piece together what I can't see through fandom posts and comments.
