A recap of the day Uganda Human Rights Commission Chairperson Mariam Wangadya called security on President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu when he personally delivered complaints, hoping the Commission would respond to the cries of our people. Her response was dismissive rather than compassionate.
Now there are reports that she is seeking safety herself.
The reality is that no one is truly safe in a sinking boat. Sooner or later, everyone feels the consequences of authoritarian rule. The wrath of a dictatorship does not spare those who once believed they were protected!

If you thought former Speaker Anita Among represented the height of political arrogance, wait until you see what newly appointed State Minister for Local Government Justine Nameere is doing. A video circulating online has sparked widespread debate after appearing to show adult men and women kneeling before her in her office as they seek favors, forgiveness, or official approval.
For many Ugandans, the images have revived memories of as a growing culture of political entitlement and personality worship. Some commentators argue that this mirrors the style once associated with Anita Among, who, despite her immense influence at the height of her political career, later found herself facing dramatic political setbacks.
Has history begun repeating itself? Have Uganda's political elites learned anything from the downfall of those who came before them? Or is power once again breeding the same culture of arrogance that has consumed others?
In this commentary, I examine the symbolism behind the viral images, the public reaction, and why many believe unchecked political power often follows the same predictable path.

The prestigious "Fat Cats" collections laid dead for over 1 year, ever since they were abandoned by their founders.
I stepped in to change that, starting building and give the community hope by reviving all 4 collections via @_DigitalDynamix!
You can now bridge all 4 collections to their new contracts, which relinquishes control from the founders and places it in the hands of the only developer building utility for holders.

As Museveni's government continues to keep many NUP and Bobi Wine supporters behind bars, reports indicate that some detainees have chosen plea bargains as the fastest available legal path to freedom after spending months in prolonged detention.
Many of the accused have remained in custody without their trials beginning, despite facing serious charges such as terrorism and treason. Just days ago, Museveni argued that such suspects should not be granted bail because they could interfere with witnesses.
I disagree with that justification. In my view, if the state is not prepared to prosecute these cases promptly, it should not keep people imprisoned indefinitely while their cases remain unresolved. Although I do not support any pressure that may push detainees into accepting plea bargains, I can understand why some would choose that option after spending so long in detention with no clear end in sight. Here is my commentary.

This TikToker from western Uganda was abducted because he made a song praising HE Bobi wine and they told him to pull it down and he refused according to the WhatsApp audios.
Obama has just dropped the biggest bombshell on Trump 🔥
🇺🇸Trump at 3:00 PM: “I'm bringing the United States back. Obama deal was BS."
🇺🇸Obama at 4:00 PM— "We had a deal to stop Iran’s nukes. Trump tore it up.
Iran sped up. He started a war. Wasted billions. Broke the military. People died. Inflation spiked.
And now we’re worse off than before. Wow what a back. Only a fool cheers this." 🔥
Absolute brutal by Obama 💪🔥
Just six months ago, Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi watched his life descend into unimaginable horror. During a security operation at his home, people were killed before he was arrested and taken into custody. After enduring months behind bars, he was denied the chance to properly mourn those who died. Throughout his detention, CDF Muhoozi Kainerugaba and President Yoweri Museveni publicly defended the operation, projecting confidence that imprisonment would silence one of their fiercest critics. But if that was the goal, it appears to have had the opposite effect.
Stepping out on bail to the cheers of hundreds of supporters who had gathered to welcome him home, Muwanga Kivumbi delivered a fiery message directed at Museveni and Muhoozi. Far from breaking his resolve, he declared that prison had only strengthened it. His imprisonment, he said, had reignited his determination to challenge what he describes as dictatorship and continue the struggle for political change.
In this commentary, I analyze Muwanga Kivumbi's defiant return, his powerful message after bail, and what his speech could mean for Uganda's political landscape.

A short while ago, I spoke with Hon. Muhammad Muwanga Kivumbi, our @NUP_Ug Deputy President for Buganda Region. What a delight to see that after several months, he is out of unlawful detention without trial - at least temporarily. As everyone knows, Hon. Kivumbi never committed any offence. The criminals who attacked his home and murdered people are the ones who should be answering for their crimes - and I believe they will, at the right time. For now, we welcome him back, and the other comrades he was detained with.
It is always a great delight to see that even in the midst of so much rot, there are still judicial officers who will rise above the pervasive intimidation and live to their oath.
Court has granted bail to Hon Muwanga Kivumbi and other co-accused.
The bail ruling for some other co-accused has been deferred to next week.
