Reasoning models can now generate hypotheses in seconds. Verifying them requires biological ground truth. Tahoe is building that ground truth. This is our path to biological superintelligence. @nalidoust@iamjohnnyyu@genophoria
Today we are introducing Tara.
Biological datasets are a source of insights and a means to train biological AI models. As the ability to reason at scale emerges, they take on a new role: the ground truth for testing what reasoning models produce, and the environment in which those models operate, get feedback, and improve.
Tara, our autonomous research agent, is embedded in our ever-expanding datasets, lab-generated and synthetic, and built to test and evolve the hypotheses frontier models generate, matching the pace at which they produce new ideas.
By keeping those models grounded in a vast space of high-precision biological data, we believe we can compound biological reasoning and close the impedance mismatch between hypothesis generation and validation.
Only 48 hours after its publication, our new Emerald Bay dataset is the top trending biological dataset on @huggingface. Can't wait to see what people will do with it.
Today we release Rhaister, an elegant statistical model that predicts drug phenotypes in new contexts w/ accuracies comparable to experimental assays.
And dropping Emerald Bay, a 2M cell dataset measuring long time-course phenotypes across 1000s of drug-cell line interactions.
IRAN: In February 2018, Iranian-Canadian environmentalist Dr. Kavous Seyed-Emami died in Evin Prison shortly after his arrest, in what authorities described as a suicide. He had been detained along with colleagues from the Persian Wildlife Heritage Foundation.
Their team was using camera traps to monitor the endangered Asiatic cheetah in remote desert and mountain regions, but they were later accused of espionage and of getting too close to sensitive military sites.
The foundation was shut down, several conservationists were imprisoned, and some later spoke about intense interrogations and pressure.
Around the same time, Flight 3704 crashed in the Zagros mountains, killing many passengers, including people connected to environmental and academic communities, leaving the country with many unanswered questions.
Now it makes sense.
To those who are comparing what’s happening in Iran to Iraq, Afghanistan, or Libya, just note that the Islamic Regime has already hit UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia. Something that Saddam, Taliban or Qaddafi never did! This Islamic Regime of Iran Is A Global Issue.
Let’s put it this way: if you cannot accept that the elimination of one of the most brutal dictators that the modern human history has seen is something to celebrate, because of some political or ideological agenda, then YOU ARE A PIECE OF SHIT!
Those in the Iranian and international communities, regardless of their agenda or ideology, who are silent against the massacre of tens of thousands protestors in Iran, will be very loud if an intervention happens. Their double standards will be remembered for generations.
At this point the earlier estimate of 12,000 deaths certainly seems to be an underestimate. This is a massacre the likes of which are unprecedented in this world.
By Day 22 of Iran’s protests, at least 3,919 deaths have been confirmed by HRANA, with 8,949 more under investigation. Arrests have reached 24,669 amid an ongoing internet shutdown and intensifying repression.

Khamenei's "look what you made me do" stance on tens of thousands of deaths is not a defense, it is a confession! When the images and videos finally surface, this week will earn a name that rivals Bloody Sunday. Look at all these young faces... https://t.co/x6QJXDLlCT
