@MartynStevenso3@AllThingsBlades With the Brooks sale and say if the owners put in the max... we are only about £5-10m in the hole... last season (despite a drop from tier 1 to tier 2 parachute payment we actually managed to post a profit. Wilder actually works better with £0 IMO so might not be a bad thing
@bigblademan1889@dannyhall04 Except he lost his case to McCabe based on the contract. & if it wasnt for the timing (in that we were promoted) his under handed dealing (by moving the shares into a shell company) would have caused a far greater issue and forced the prince to buy the assets (he couldnt afford)
@FowlerReece@ajbutb@dannyhall04 I mean i recall a certain Prince being as deceptive when buying the shares off mcCabe... setting up shell companies so he didnt trigger a full buyout of the assets...
@JensenAckles did you know your appearing on random AI stories... likeness was great but the voice was hilarious. If only the Winchesters were still about to investigate this demonic work haha
@Dylan4857476374@AllThingsBlades Brooks was one dimensional. And quite often that was his downfall. He could only really use one foot (which is why Rak-Sakyi was preferred over him becuase he could use 2) he was very hit and miss. Oh and did you char bot the extension and accept it as fact?
@robstaton@wit_xx Its relevant as the reason you are downgrading their achievement on basis that they didnt play anyone of note... so same could be said of England achievements.
@robstaton@wit_xx But you could say the reason why England have done so well and had these long runs without loss and without conceded etc in the qualifiers are also due to the quality of opponents.
@DanGrayson1889@AllThingsBlades Generally its because they are still sorting out sponsors (also the contract on the Adidas deal was still wet come the end of the season and they will be trying to decide it its red with white stripes or white with red stripes... or just red and white stripes ;-)
@Blades60Martyn@SheffieldUnited Have you had your eyes tested recently... I could probably name at least 5 alot worse without even thinking (Grbic, Baxter, Hammond, Oli Burke, Ten Heuvel come immidiately to mind)
@Duncanelliott19@SheffieldUnited He is only a young lad still learning his trade. I suspect there will also have been a loan fee... which if we sent him out every season would probably bring in more then his transfer fee.
@FowlerReece@dannyhall04@HoltChris Personally bringing back wilder made us look stupid... he didnt get the bounce all the wilder fans expected. (I would have gone elsewhere completely) but surely knowing and correctly a mistake they believe they made is actually better than pretending they never made a mistake.
@FowlerReece@dannyhall04@HoltChris So you would prefer they didnt get him?
Personally I was annoyed they let him go...
So I would be pleased if he came back.
@rt11utb@dannyhall04 We dont need a player who despite hardly playing was probablg one of the successes of last season...
We currently only have Peck and Arblaster in that role... we desperately need Midfielders and Central defenders.
@Wigg_MUFC@RoxyDrummond You cant really extort if there is nothing in it.
Imagine someone attempting to extort money from you saying you had done something bad... would you just pay it?
@IngoodNick17@blades_sufc_1 &my point was the other side of the story.
You see it as alarming due to seeing one side. I pointed out the clubs position (the other side) you've a player who missed the back end of the season through "injury" was in his last year of a contract. sees ambition = paying me more
@IngoodNick17@blades_sufc_1 So you call me out... for saying equally thick but not the one I replied too... becuase he supports your view... Interesting.
He was offered a contract and didnt sign it... are you trying to tell me thats not refusing to sogn a new deal? If he wanted to sign he would have
@blades_sufc_1@IngoodNick17 And equally thick fans.. who think he we keep a player against his will (refused to sign a new contract) he will suddenly be even better playing for us next season... makes you wonder if he did "tweak his knee in training" better to get £10m now than diddly squat in 12months
