@vicatoon@ZiaYusufUK The difference is, Reform are not in government yet, so if they have spelt out any retroactive policies in their manifesto, they would have a mandate to do so. Labour absolutely do not. They don’t even have a mandate for the PM.
@Karthvdux@ZiaYusufUK Don’t you think it’s a much better idea to help people help themselves so they don’t need food banks? Fishing lines instead of fish.
@UKLabour This is an absolutely revolting attack on democracy. This Labour government are nothing short of Orwellian. They do nothing except try to pass laws so they stay in power longer. They repulse me.
@RupertLowe10 I think he’s putting democracy before anything else. Handing choice to Clacton.don’t thinks he’s self serving,if he were, he’d have stayed in City & paid other MPs to do his bidding. He’s not so different from you@RupertLowe10 - cares about this country & wants to turn it around
@ZiaYusufUK Working man in a lorry flying the Union Flag - you couldn’t get more British! He’s not threatening her, he’s voicing his opinion on elected govt & has every right to do so. Reeves demonstrates her contempt for thesilent majority of this country - she has no idea what British is
@bphillipsonMP Looking after our own is the first duty of any government. Something, this Labour government, with their virtue signalling and suicidal empathy, fail to do on every level.
@RestoreBritain_@RupertLowe10 He was in Norfolk on the campaign trail. Probably understood that with Starmer enforcing the whip, there was little chance of the motion passing. So his vote would have made no difference.
@RealDonKeith We don’t need them. How about we let our British, newly qualified nurses take a job instead? They’re struggling to secure a position with over 100 applicants for a single job… not sure there’s a skills shortage that warrants overseas workers taking those positions.
@Keir_Starmer Isn’t it a MUCH better idea to help those children ‘out of poverty’ by helping their parents provide for them themselves ie by having a decent job, instead of state handouts?
@Jennyfurfuls I love these posts of pure fantasy just for the comments 🤣 Incidentally, if you’d actually listened to what Reform said, you’d know this is complete rubbish.
@RupertLowe10 Agree with this. My son’s friend is grade A student, top athlete and all-round good egg. He applied to study medicine at various UK universities and didn’t even get an interview. As a country, we’re worse off for preventing him from becoming the amazing doctor he could have been.
@oscarhero1801 So we should give Labour a pass because you don’t think they’re as bad as the last Tory Govt? That’s like asking why people are angry at a man that hurt a child when his brother hurt 2 children.
@implausibleblog Maybe the story is the rise of what was a protest party to a party that could win the next GE - regardless of where they sit on the political spectrum.
@robblackie It is true though. My friend works for the council in Stevenage, as a housing officer and she told me asylum seekers get zipped to the top.
