@ZiaYusufUK So what did you mean when you said this “ vote reform and we would reverse the Boriswave” how do you intend to reverse it..huh?
You can continue politicking, that’s what your likes do anyways
@Aligregpip@ZiaYusufUK I understand you. But labour can argue that since they already hold a broad public mandate to safeguard the integrity of democracy, doing this is simply an administrative necessity to prevent bad actors from influencing elections.
My point still remains, is it FAIR?
@ZiaYusufUK You need to rest
Your hypocrisy stinks. you plan to retroactively change ILR rules for legal, tax-paying immigrants, but suddenly demand precedent when retroactive rules are about to affect your party.
@Sir_kay__@TheHaleemah@toecynio@Omisbright This is exactly why there have been campaigns on ending the current tied sponsorship system. It’s unfair towards employees but at the end of the day, emotion is not law.
@Sir_kay__@toecynio@TheHaleemah@Omisbright You are conflating employment law with immigration rules. They can choose not to renew, unless the contract stipulates that. Company has no obligation to renew. It’s left for the employee to figure out their immigration status if they want to continue the employment
"Corrupt African Leaders" And Trump's New Policy Of Encouragement
When government corruption and illicit financial flows are discussed in Africa, attention is always disproportionately focused on the well-known local faces and culprits, often with the explicit or implicit inferrence that these are problems originating from Africa, as against the western jurisdictions that often benefit from them.
A recent policy decision from the US Treasury Department should dispel this myth once and for all. @Big_Mck outlines what this policy is and what it means.
@GBNEWS@GoodwinMJ Slowly, we are getting there.
From illegal migrant to legal ones, to people with settled status then British who were not born here.
Slowly but we will surely get there.
The talks of ‘contributing or assimilating’ is just a facade. 😅 the true intent will soon be out
@boye4christ2006 His suggestion is flawed in itself because he complained about people coming illegally and working below minimum wage, while providing a solution that targets only those working legally.
The end result would be more illegal migrant and less tax contribution from migrant.
Stupid
The charges do not align with the army’s allegations. The Army he is a strategic enemy of the state, but Dss is prosecuting a dishonest person. It only means one thing, their claims of "subversion" and "incitement" lack evidence. This is just a clear case of abuse of power
Read for yourself the silly Charges a whole Nigerian Army asked the DSS to file against Justice Crack for revealing the objective living conditions of soldiers on the frontline.
#Freejusticecrack#Nigeria
but to send a message to other people that the military is off limit. Because tell me how they would prove intent. they must prove the information was false and shared specifically to cause a breakdown of law and order. Proving that intent is a much higher bar than just
STATEMENT FROM EURACARE.
A SWIFT CLINICAL GOVERNANCE INVESTIGATION SHOULD BE DONE AND COMMUNICATED TO THE FAMILY.
GUYS, READ, SHARE, REPOST...
"We extend our deepest sympathies to Chimamanda Adichie and family on the demise of their son and acknowledge the profound and unimaginable loss they are experiencing during this deeply distressing time. The loss of a child is beyond words, and we offer our most heartfelt condolences to his parents and the entire family.
We find it necessary, for the record, to clarify that some of the reports currently being circulated contain inaccuracies. In particular, the suggestion that this tragic outcome resulted from medical negligence is erroneous.
Our facility is a reputable centre for complex medical care, led by an internationally trained and experienced clinical team. The patient, who was critically ill, was referred to our facility for specific diagnostic procedures after receiving treatment for over a week at two paediatric centres. Upon arrival, our medical team immediately provided care in line with established clinical protocols and internationally accepted medical standards, including the administration of sedation where clinically indicated.
In the course of his care, we worked collaboratively with external medical teams as recommended by his family and ensured that all necessary clinical support was provided. Despite these concerted efforts, the patient sadly passed away less than 24 hours after presenting at our facility.
We have commenced a detailed investigation consistent with our clinical governance standards and best practices. We remain committed to engaging transparently and responsibly with all clinical and regulatory processes. We recognise that the family is grieving an irreplaceable loss and we shall continue to support them in any way that may bring comfort during this devastating period.
As medical professionals, we carry the weight of this loss deeply. Our priority remains compassion, patient safety, and the responsible handling of this matter, while respecting the family’s privacy and allowing due process to take its course. We continue to hold the family in our thoughts and prayers."

She demonstrated a clear understanding of the reasons behind our demands. This meant a great deal to me, and I am sincerely grateful.
Thank you once again for taking time out of your busy schedule to hear us @PreetKGillMP@unisontheunion
Today, I and other unison members met with the MP for Edgbaston, Preet Gill, to explain our concerns regarding the latest immigration proposals and how they affect us in the health sector. Although we are not directly under her constituency, she took the time to listen to us.
