“Imagine no possessions” he told us.

He also:
– helped write his band’s anti-tax anthem, Taxman
– incorporated his IP holdings
– moved to a lower-tax country
– fiercely protected his royalties
- drove two Rolls Royce’s and had multiple luxury homes.
– made sure even the royalty cheques for Imagine were kept safe for his estate so his family would remain wealthy in perpetuity.

If he believed it, he’d have lived it. The trouble with socialism is that even the people who love the idea won’t run the experiment on themselves.

So many reasons to rejoice in the humiliation of Starmer:

* His disgusting persecution of veterans - preferring our enemies to our heroes every single time.
* Demonisation and merciless jailing of white Britons after massacre of children in Southport. Total lack of empathy.
* Calling decent people “far right” when it was he who was far left.
* Telling Trump we “have always had a lot of free speech” while the sanctimonious Stalinist was ushering in more hardline censorship
* U-turning on the hard choices necessary to save the country - like cutting an unsustainable welfare bill - just to buy himself popularity with his student backbenchers
* Sanctimoniously denying our most important ally, the United States, permission to simply use the air bases they had paid for. Doing enormous harm to the Special Relationship and leaving us unprotected just to buy himself popularity with his student backbenchers.
* Taking the knee to DEI and poisoning our society - two-tier Keir
* Ruining thousands of businesses, putting hundreds of thousands out of work with increased job taxes while claiming absurdity to have “restored economic stability”
* Trying to avoid a national inquiry into the rape gangs until shamed into one by Elon Musk.

A Dutch 15-year-old girl who identified as a trans boy, and later as a dog, has stabbed her parents to death.

She took pictures of their bodies covered in blood and sent to her school class WhatsApp group.

Classmates said the troubled teen had been wrestling with her identity for years.

One classmate revealed: “She wore a tail, dog ears and gloves. She’d crawl around on all fours and bark while running through the school corridors.”

Neighbours said they had seen her strange behaviour for years, but that it was getting worse.

They spotted the girl sprinting hard through the streets at night, perching silently on garden fences and shed roofs and hiding in bushes.

One local told reporters: “She was always strange and kept herself to herself.
“But seeing her running like that in the dark… it was creepy”

Residents in Bleiswijk, near Rotterdam, Netherlands, successfully pushed back against plans to give six new streets Arabic names.

The municipality had proposed names including Wadi Musa, Wadi Rum, Wadi Draa, Wadi Shab, Wadi Mansour, and Wadi Ali, but 44 local residents objected, arguing the names were not appropriate for the area and lacked any connection to Bleiswijk.

57% of residents in Rotterdam have a migration background.

The council has now replaced the proposed names with traditional Dutch names including Kolenschuitpad, Westlanderstraat, Praamplantsoen, Trekschuit, Veilingschuit, and Tuindersvlet.

Larry the Cat has now outlasted six prime ministers.

Larry has seen the back of plenty of feline, mice and foxes in Downing Street and has also now outlasted half a dozen prime ministers.

Larry came from Battersea Dogs & Cats Home where he was rescued as a stray and given the historic role as he was noted for being particularly good at keeping mice away.

Sounds like the Prime Ministers are confused, Larry owns the place now. Squatters' rights seems to support this.
