It would be great if all the conservationists/naturalists or just folk in the know, could get behind our 2 hectare heathland restoration plan by liking and reposting this. Please show that it matters as much to someone miles away as it does to someone locally! #conservation
I wa dropping off my wool at the local depot yesterday which happens to be just up the road from Dickleburgh Moor, hence made the short diversion to see this Temmincks Stint, plus Wood Sandpiper one of my favourite waders
@Med2005Mick@maryewalker24 Try entering any old date as long as it makes you over 18. Seems to work just fine! (But remember it in case you get asked again)
@Durotrigesdig@Rebecca79302251 Having dealt with a lot of dead animals over a veterinary and livestock farming career the head flopping back like that is what happens when you drop a carcase into a bag, hole or whatever if its not in rigor mortis.
Back home after 2 days enjoying @SuffolkShow. After a sodden winter, getting stuck in a Bluetongue Zone and Chris's knee replacement I was also delighted the sheep came home with several rosettes including two seconds!
We were in the Cambridge area for a post-op appointment so it made sense to call in at Ouse Fen and admire the Great Reed Warbler there blasting out his song in full view
Fairly quiet day at @RSPBMinsmere but for the Bittern hide doubters here are the 2 distant East scrape drake Mandarins & the pair of Garganey from West hide! Cute to watch this duck Gadwall with her 12 new ducklings but my highlight was this Green Hairstreak near the sluice.
@lizardschwartz Several short walks a day will be fine and hide some of her food round the house too.
Years ago I let my recently spayed dog off her lead after 3 days as she was trotting calmly along. She went crazy, racing up and down a steep slope π± Wound was fine, thank goodness
@ianbennell75@JLowenWildlife Not helped by the neighbours putting out their green bins this afternoon. Usually means its Thursday but not this week! π€―π
