Two members of the National Maritime Foundation (NMF) participated in the Indian Maritime Heritage Conclave held on 11th and 12th December 2024 🗓️, at Yashobhoomi Convention Centre, New Delhi 🏛️. Ms Priyasha Dixit (Research Associate) and Mr Suraj Palavalsa (Research Intern) proudly represented NMF at this prestigious event organised by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways, GoI 🚢🇮🇳.

The conclave was graced by esteemed dignitaries 🌟, including the Hon'ble Vice President of India, Shri Jagdeep Dhankar 🙏, and featured keynote addresses from Adm D K Joshi (Lt Governor, Andaman & Nicobar Islands) 🛡️, former Chairman, NMF, Shri Sarbananda Sonowal (Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways) 🌊, Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, and Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, alongside renowned historians and archaeologists 📜 such as Prof Vasant Shinde, Dr K N Dixit, and Dr K K Bhan.

✨ The event also showcased insights from 11 international speakers 🌍 and explored India's rich maritime heritage, global trade links, cultural exchanges, and its significant contributions to seafaring history 🗺️🚢.
