@nolatechie That's fine if this out of state money is coming with their jobs. If it is just to have a "place in New Orleans" that they leave empty or airbnb it's not good. New Orleans needs population more than rising real estate prices.

Also grow the population so that the cost per person on flood infrastructure isn't out of whack

But does #NewOrleans have enough #COVID19 testing capacity to implement a testing/#VaccineMandate?
Is the city asking people for something that cant happen, a clean test less than 72 hours old, because the city lacks the testing capacity?

@nolacampanella This is what happens when the only thing the city has been interested in for years was, not jobs, not attracting business, not fighting crime, not fixing roads, not basic infrastructure, but finding ways to push up residential real estate prices with zoning and hdlc regulations.

@nolacampanella The push to remove the interstate comes without a lot of understanding of what would be required, what the impacts would be of 100,000 cars at ground level would be, how it would cut off NO.East from downtown and the role the elevated road plays in flood resilience.
