🧵2. After the hearing, a written order produced by the RO contradicted everything that happened in the meeting.

The RO left the office, and left the order for his staff to hand over, at 4 PM on February 15th.

The order claims the opposing candidate and his lawyer were present in the hearing, and actually argued their cases. This is not true.

The order claims that the candidates were present when the vote count was made on February 8th. This is not true, and verifiable by multiple witnesses.

The order is a copy paste of 7 other orders to 7 other cases, on which I conducted a press conference yesterday.

There is a criminal cover up on the 8 seats in Peshawar in which Election results were changed. I have intimated both the CS and the IG of the role of some of their staff. In my personal and humble opinion, a lack of action, typical bureaucratic strategy by senior officials to not get their hands dirty, may in the future have legal consequences.

Off to the @ECP_Pakistan again today. Again to stress, what has happened cannot be hidden. The stench of compensation in changing these results is one that will bite those taking no action back at the appropriate time.

🧵 Crooked ROs derailing democracy?

This is a complete video of the hearing by the RO PK79, Arshad Afridi, on the instructions of the @ECP_Pakistan, on February 15th.

The RO is asked whether he has any Forms 45. He says no.

He is then given a copy of the Forms 45 and read the result polling station by polling station. He does not dispute the polling station results.

When he is told by the lawyer that the count did not happen in front of the candidates, he does not dispute it.

When lawyer @khaneliegohar finishes his arguments, Arshad Afridi says he will need to consult his lawyer since he is not a very learned person.

After, when I ask Mr Afridi as to why as RO he did not allow me inside, he says it is because he was not in charge of security (it was not in his hands).

When I ask him whether the fact that the results in my Forms 45 are so different to what he has notified, does it not amaze him? He says he will need to look into it.

After agreeing that he left the stadium at 3 am, RO Afridi claims that he returned to the stadium and announced the result from the RO room. But when confronted with evidence that after 6 am, I had access to the RO room and the DC and SSP Operations told me that the RO was not there, he he retracts his statement and agrees he was not there.

Make up your own mind about the truth. To date, sadly Chief Secretary Nadeem Chaudhry, not IG Akhtar Hayat Gandapur have taken any actions or called any explanations of the officers present in the room; DRO Afaq Wazir or SSP Operations Kashif Abbasi, or CCPO Ishfaq Anwer who denied access to the complex to all contesting candidates including me.

As a reminder, on PK79, having obtained 25102 votes and a 5x lead over the number two candidate, the 5th place candidate having obtained 1609 votes was declared elected in the official result.

Thanks to Economist, New York Times, Financial Times, Times Magazine, Al Jazeera, Guardian, BBC, DW, Intercept, Washington Post and other media publications world realises that Pakistani elections were a sick Joke played by Pakistani military!
Pakistani Army Chief, wants to create another divided weak house, a parliament controlled by him so that he can extract a “ Full Three Year Extension” for himself! This should be UnAcceptable!
International reaction, resonance inside US Congress, strong critical statements from US State Department, UK Foreign Secretary & EU Foreign Policy Chief present an opportunity for Pakistani people, political parties and PaKPacs to build a stronger alliance at this moment!
Especially important are demands from US State Department and EU to investigate Election Rigging and several Congressmen asking United States not to recognise new Govt of Sharif & Zardari till election riggings are investigated.
This window will close in 96-120 hours unless PTI, Pakistani Diasporas and PakPac etc don’t work fast to build a case for the scrutiny of Form-47s.
