@GuyLodge Excellent review of "Obsession," Mr. Lodge. I’ve been reading movie reviews since Sheila Benson wrote for the Los Angeles Times (before your time), and it was refreshing to read such a well written piece of criticism.
@carebecc something is up with Patreon release of Psycho III, which, I’m assuming, is why it only has one comment… I couldn’t get it to play, and I was signed in
Congratulations, Virginia! Republicans are trying to tilt the midterm elections in their favor, but they haven’t done it yet. Thanks for showing us what it looks like to stand up for our democracy and fight back.
@carebecc I hope it’s more appealing than his Evil Dead installment. I know this sounds odd, but I like horror films that have some aesthetically pleasing element to them. The Scream movies come to mind - horror but still pretty lol. Something about Cronin’s color choices just puts me off.
If you don't mind subtitles and want to see a bizarre yet very engaging horror movie that stays true to itself till the bitter end, I can't recommend "Raw" enough. 👻
@carebecc Saw it tonight. I more liked it than not (Tong, Reinhart and Pedretti’s performances cannot be denied), but I could definitely see how it could not be someone’s cup of tea.
@riotgames We've gotten a bunch of these and the disputing them does not use. It's rejected. Where do we go https://t.co/SfOxPaQjLV to get support? I don't see a category that matches this issue.
If you want to *avoid* spoilers, stay away from this Hollywood Reporter review of "Weapons." I'm not sure why they don't give a warning on these reviews, but THR is notorious for this nonsense 🙄https://t.co/vQJuvZFeMj
@carebecc Totally agree, ultimately it felt like too much of a cash grab and not enough like a movie to doing its best to tell a compelling story. It lacked the earnestness of the original. Did you think it was worse than Fear Street: Prom night?
