@RunUltra_UK@runs_3@inov_8 @pair_ups Hi! I have some slight wearing in that location, but nothing like your picture! I've done around 400 miles in them and the uppers are still pretty good. The main bit of wear I've experienced seems to be the tread - they might end up as roadies!
@Jpd54ish@AndreaCowanSNP@Tesco The reports do seem to be about the supermarkets, but my high street veg shop had plenty yesterday, including peppers and tomatoes. So they seem to be finding a way to maintain supply!
@nedboulting It all depends where you live. I was car-free for 4 years but living in Manchester so it was easy. Hired a car once or twice a year bought a pull along shopping trolley. Easy! I could manage now living in a smaller town, but would be pretty restricted!
@SMillbery Yep, I've done it twice. There seems to be a saying that "you're not a proper fell runner until you've done the trigger" π€£ 23-24 miles of almost guaranteed bad weather and soggy terrain. It's glorious! π
@fredsirieix1 I really enjoyed it, but it got to the point in later series where I was forcing my way through episodes and couldn't care less what happened, so I gave up!
A wonderful mesolithic microlith I found in the hills above Glossop recently. It would have been one of a dozen or so attached to a spear. Careful retouching to make a serrated edge can be seen clearly, the result of human action from 8000 years ago. Stunning. #Archaeology
