Grade 4-6 students were gardening today. They researched how to layer a raised garden bed, collected the required materials, & began the layering process. They used the compost from the new electric composter to help enrich the soil. They planted radish, carrot, and turnip. 🥕
**You are invited to join us (grades 2-12) tomorrow afternoon, Thursday - June 16. We will be planting trees around the community and on the playground. If you are interested, please drop by the school between 1 and 3 pm.**

Our Grade 4-6 class, with Mrs. Young, had the absolute best time at Killdevil where they participated in the Outdoor Education Program as a part of the grade 5 curriculum. The students were engaged in many activities throughout their 2.5 days at camp.
