The best holiday gift of 2018 for Santa Clara County? Measure A, the $950 million bond measure to build 4,800 housing units for the homeless is working. https://t.co/RZw1j26FHU
“Measure A is starting to fulfill the promise advocates made to voters in 2016 that it could turn a county with one of the worst homeless problems in the nation into one providing a model solution.” https://t.co/Bm7qKPUjoJ
Saying goodbye to our Director @MayaEsparza3 and wishing her well in her new role as @CityofSanJose Councilwoman! Thank you for making sure so many veterans have been able to move from our streets to homes of their own.
NEWS: The @SCCgov Supportive Housing System is working. Latest through June 2018 - a total of 6,040 people have been PERMANENTLY HOUSED w/ a 93% retention rate. We have a lot more to do but our community is doing what we said we would do. #Endinghomelessness
How fun to watch @MayaEsparza3 give my fellow @SCC_HousingAuth Commissioners an @AllThWayHomeSCC update, thanking SCCHA for their partnership and passing the baton as she leaves us to become @CityofSanJose newest Councilmember for D7.
We will treasure this @AllThWayHomeSCC donation in today’s mail and we are so grateful for your family’s extensive and generational service to our country. ❤️
Congratulations Madam Councilwoman! We’ve never been so happy to lose a member of the @DSTNHome team. We are so proud of you and look forward to addressing you on the dais. Go get it @MayaEsparza3 ❤️👊🏼😘
Great news! Because of the program's success in housing vets, the “All The Way Home” program is being extended for another two years. “Santa Clara County is committed to ending this crisis.” - @supdavecortese
