Two days after Henry died Hampshire Police secretly recorded Digwa in a police van speaking Punjabi to his brother. Digwa admitted stabbing Henry. Discussed claiming self defence. Made zero mention of racial abuse. Not one word.

Hampshire Police had that tape.

They knew Digwa was lying about the racist attack. They had the evidence. They had his own words and then tried to smear Henry as the aggressor anyway.

Three days after his death their statement read “it was reported two men had been assaulted by an unknown man.” Henry was the unknown man. The boy bleeding out on the street. They flipped it.

Family complained. Statement changed. Then police told the family their NEXT update would again infer Henry was the initial aggressor. His family had to fight them a second time. While grieving their murdered son.

Then during the trial Hampshire tried to issue a statement telling the public to stop talking about it online. Calling it disinformation. The CPS had to step in. Told them they were about to collapse their own murder case.

This is the force that handcuffed a dying boy. Missed the murder weapon twice. Had a secret tape proving the killer lied. And still tried to bury Henry's name.

That's not incompetence. That's a machine protecting itself. At the expense of a dead boy's reputation and three officers are still on active duty. Not suspended. Treated as witnesses. To their own actions.

Hampshire Police didn't just fail Henry on that street. They kept failing him for six months after he died.

During the most recent war, Iran proved that it could sufficiently absorb thousands of airstrikes from two power enemies while retaining the large majority of its drone and ballistic missile capabilities. They also showcased the willingness and capacity to accurately strike American military installations meant to protect the Gulf States, and they even went as far as striking the most valuable economic organs of Saudi Arabia, UAE, etc. while US defenses faltered.

Likewise, new brass of Iranian leadership let go of Khamenei-era tepidness and exerted control of the Strait of Hormuz, turning it into the focal point of the conflict and its resolution. Within this context, Iran has established several layers of deterrence that convinced the US to halt their strikes and has so far prevented them from returning to full-scale kinetic action. Iran is using this newly-gained leverage to protect its ally in Southern Lebanon.

The only way to sever this link would be by actually calling Iran's bluff and attacking Dahiya. Had Iran refrained from responding, their strangehold over the Lebanon would've gradually faded. But now because they did in fact keep true to their word, the ball is back in Netanyahu's court. TP-5 has invited an Israeli response that could lead to the resumption of full-scale hostilities, but the conflict between Israel/US no longer exists in a vacuum.

Iran is using the threat of strikes on US bases/the Gulf to get Trump to muzzle Bibi, which would once and for all solidify Iran's desired regional equation. In April Iran discovered that by surviving the US/Israeli onslaught while simultaneously crossing the rubicon and involving the entire region and global economy in the war, they could dissuade further offensive actions and even receive concessions at the negotiating table.

This confident mentality directly negates years of Netanyhau/Mossad planning to gradually chip away at Iran's regional standing until it caves in under the pressure of its own weight. The only way to alter this situation is by resuming hostilities and harming Iran in such a way to forces its leadership to reconsider their current trajectory.

A rerun of the March 2026 war has no possibility of achieving this objective, and would probably even further improve Iran's standing (which is why they had no problem calling Bibi's bluff tonight). Which leaves Israel with the option of focusing their aerial campaign on Iran's power grid, bridges, water storage, and any other infrastructure critical for a state's functionality. But of course this would invite an equal and opposite reaction against the Gulf, which is why Trump is wary of such an escalation.

Iran knows this and is playing the competing US/Israeli interests against each another. The only other approach to weakening Iran we've seen since the ceasefire is Trump's improvised blockade. The goal is to simply wait the Iranians out, quietly strangling their revenue streams until they have no choice but to renege on maximalist demands. But the waiting game fails to consider the possibility of Iran escalating first, which by now we know they're more than willing to do (see recent strikes on Kuwait, Bahrain, and now Israel).
