Chernihiv mourns two people killed in Russia’s supermarket attack

The final toll from yesterday’s strike is two dead and 25 injured. Russia killed a 10-year-old girl and a 23-year-old woman.

Four children were among the wounded. Twelve people remain hospitalized, including four in serious condition.

Chernihiv declared 27 July a day of mourning.

Crimean journalist, nurse, and human rights defender Iryna Danylovych is being tortured with 12 hours of deafening noise every single day in a russian penal colony.

She is almost deaf in one ear. Every loud sound feels like an electric shock to her brain. From 6 a.m. until evening, a TV is kept at full volume to break her psychologically.

Her sister says: "They are simply driving her to suicide."

Abducted by the FSB in 2022. Sentenced to seven years on fabricated explosives charges. International appeals have been ignored.

Give Iryna a chance to survive.

July was the bloodiest month for the Ukrainian civilian population since 2022 – CNN.

According to preliminary figures, at least 377 people were killed and another 2,129 injured in Russian attacks.

President Zelenskyy had previously reported that, in the past week alone, Russia used nearly 1,700 drones, more than 1,630 guided bombs, and over 50 ballistic missiles against Ukraine.

European aid is completely inadequate, and American aid is non-existent.

These were the words Danish fans held up during FC Copenhagen's UEFA Conference League qualifier against Polissya Zhytomyr from Ukraine.

After the match, Polissya's head coach Ruslan Rotan thanked the Danish fans personally:

"It was truly moving to see the FC Copenhagen fans bring a banner in support of Ukraine. It matters. Denmark is our friend, one of the many countries standing with us. We want to thank the Danish people through the press. Support for Ukraine matters to us."

The first match ended in a 3-3 draw. The return leg will be played in Denmark on July 29.
