Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
@dissidntdad So awesome Greg! See what they think of my puzzles! Haha!
We had a single ewe for years. Her name was Angel. An all black beauty. We clipped and sheared her by hand in our driveway. Great memories. I got the backend. Clip, poop, go up the drive a few feet. Repeat.
@AndrewZywiecMD So beautiful. I’m tearing up right before trying to sleep. But so glad I saw this. So calm and caring….just patience waiting for what you knew was there and coming….LIFE, fighting to survive… and with your touch, that life was restarted. Carry on God.
@goodefoodsfam Yes! The corn and green beans are all I can find and they are amazing. Keep up the great work!! I tell all my family about your amazing products!
@AnnaMulvany@goodefoodsfam That's where I finally found them. Only corn and green beans that I could find but looking forward to trying the others. The corn tasted like I was eating right off the cob! So goode! 😋
@goodefoodsfam Those look awesome! Will definitely be trying those out!! Thanks for that recipe!! Going to be buying Goode Foods in bulk now whenever I see them! The corn tastes like it was just shaved off an ear of Summer corn! Excellent, crunchy flavor!
@dissidntdad @DadsWoodshop From my humble hands and wood shop to your table. That's a beautiful sight right there Greg. Awesome! How long did they take to put them back together? Thanks so much for posting that!
@goodefoodsfam I finally found anď bought 4 cans last week in a Food Lion at the beach in NC last week. Corn tasted like it was just cut from the cob. Green beans were awesome too! About maybe 10 cans were left. I picked up 5. Yum!
@TimberLlc I make unique, handmade wooden puzzle blocks of my own design @DadsPuzzles and sell them on https://t.co/7NJK2zHe9V as a small hobby side business.
Gotta start somewhere making things! Doing what I can.
Love your work! I'd love some of your 4x4 or 5x5 cutoffs!
@SamaHoole@JohnFarren15@ClarksonsFarm1 I need more adventures of all three! The children’s adventure book series almost writes itself! I just love YOUR posts and need more cow, sheep and goat content in my life.
When I read your cow post, it really makes you appreciate the beasts even more. Keep it up please!!
