@BBFarhadi It’s likely been said but needs to be repeated. Many of our HS students are now front line essential employees in grocery and food service industries. Please keep that in mind when preparing course work that our assignments may not be top priority for many students.
Our elected officials must listen to professionals in education. Public education is a resource too valuable to destroy with policy decisions not proven by data, nor experience.
To my kids’ teachers in SCDSB: stay warm, stay strong. @Andrea_Khanjin@Sflecce#SCETF#SCDECE
Dear Elementary Teachers of Ontario;
Thank you for protecting my children. Your integrity is top drawer and sets the bar high for our elected officials.
With love, support, and admiration,

I am a teacher, a parent, and an Ontarian (20, 9, & 44 yrs respectively). Students deserve to have course options & my kids deserve support of caring adults. I will strike until these needs are acknowledged and met by our leaders. #osstfunited@D17Teachers#nocutstoeducation
Wellness Wednesday is being promoted at Innisdale. Staff are helping ensure students are aware of supports that are available in our community. @AnneTervit
We begin our Gr. 12 Yoga class at Innisdale every day with a moment to arrive in the space. A moment to unplug, center and breathe. Something we all need to do more often. 🙏 @SCDSB_Wellness@SCDSB_Schools
A huge thank you to Ashley from The Child Advocacy Center in Orillia for speaking to many of our ISS classes today about the impact that social media use has on our mental health #GetLoud@ISSUpdates
