Regardless of how high #preschoolers can rote count, a child’s sense of what those numbers actually mean develops gradually. We call this understanding NUMBER SENSE, and it requires relating numbers to real quantities.

Today I shared #mathshirtfriday with my daughter who is one "Smart Cookie" as she noticed all the "math things" in the background of her shirt!
I rocked my "Cowculus" shirt....even though my littles didn't understand it they noticed our school mascot, Nessy the cow!
This made my day! Number line on the floor....easily accessible for the kiddos to toe tap!

We had fun with 10 Black Dots in Kindergarten! Our friends made some fabulous pictures!
