Setting the record straight on Election Day:

🪪 You don’t need an ID to vote - unless you’re a first-time voter and didn’t provide ID when you registered. If you haven’t provided ID yet, you can still vote using an affidavit ballot!

✍️ There are some candidates who dropped out of the race but are still on the ballot. That’s because they dropped out after the deadline to withdraw. If you vote for them, your vote will still count.

🗳️ Some candidates also appear on the ballot multiple times. This is normal in NYC - it’s called fusion voting! You should only vote for your preferred candidate once, but your vote will count for them the same regardless of which party line you choose.

🆘 If you have questions, ask a poll worker - and thank them for serving our city! 🫶
