@gaynarcan But could the changes to the health care regs be due to trying to craft regulations that could survive post Dobbs, than any backlash against trans rights, as in states where dems have political power, anti trans bill are not being enacted and pro trans bills are being passed?

@bundleofstyx_ For me, it was when I ended up in a hospital with a serious issue, due to failing to care about my health at all, as due to my gender dysphoria I did not care if I lived or died at the time. Once that happened, I knew I needed to transition, no matter what.

@benjanun_s While the UK has cut public spending since the 2008 financial crisis, the countries that also did so were not the US but the EU as the US has not and in fact increased public spending this is the reason why that the US economy has been faring better than the EU since 2008 crisis

If only around 2% of voters care about this (which includes both sides of this debate), that seems to show that most women really don't care

@BryanB8 @kdnerak33 Here’s the thing though, they aren’t spending their money, they’re spending the money of everybody else who pays taxes as well. I pay school taxes and have no kids, so why should my money as a taxpayer pay for other people’s children to attend religious schools that I oppose.

@CEJacksonLaw If single sex restrooms were so important to dignity and opportunities for women, why is it that 99 times out of 100 (even taking into account trans people) when someone is using the restroom of the opposite sex, it is women using the men’s room.

@How86917508 @ProfDaveAndress You know if you have a boundary with sharing a public restroom with a trans woman, the way for you to enforce that boundary is for you to avoid public restrooms (as trans women have been using them long before the current moral panic), not the trans person, right?
