@glytchbot I wish schools and indie mentors were more transparent. I burnt myself out trying to work full-time and study to get back in, and seeing my other industry friends get laid off week by week. Its brutal. If you study for anim do it for love of the medium and make stuff for yourself

@glytchbot I was that student that put in every hour not working into studying and it still took me 2-3yrs after graduating (zero debt thank god) to land a job in vfx/anim. Worked 3yrs in Canada and then the strikes sent me home. Its been another 3yrs and nothing is out there for students
