i'm really generous toward students because 1) why wouldn't you be and 2) you can't say who's going to be an excellent writer. maybe it'll take years. it usually takes years & years! i don't believe anyone who says some students are just talented and some aren't and that's that.

@Mg20231 Hi Melissa, try to write 250 words about each of your three genre compositions (rather than just looking at 750 total) and get as specific as possible - maybe think of an audience asking “Why did you do this/that/the other thing?”

@sarahj_enc That’s exactly right! Even though this is still an academic project, you can use the citation conventions common to the genres you’re creating. Sharing links sounds like it makes the most sense to me, so as long as you’ve used quotation marks on any direct quotes, you’re good!

@m_faris_12 Either way is fine by me! Some templates in Wix make attaching a doc more difficult, so as long as the text is still readable, copy/paste is fine

@SarahHicksFSU No worries, Sarah! For something like an email or flyer, writers usually cite just through attributive phrases rather than parenthetical/in-text citations. So something like “...as described by Jason Palmeri in Remixing Composition...” would work!

@SarahHicksFSU All of the workshop and conference reflections, yes! The only other reflection-type things are the rhetorical rationale that’s part of the Multi-genre campaign, your revision statement for projects 1 and 2, and your eportfolio design statement
